CHANGE Environmental conducted an Air Assessment at a large Forth Worth, Texas Ranch. The investigation was due to concern of a possible exposure of natural gas leaking from a natural gas and processing facility nearby.
CHANGE conducted modeling and monitoring for air quality on the ranch and nearby community areas and sampling locations around the natural gas facility. Samples collected were to assess levels of Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene in the air (i.e., BTEX). Monitors were strategically placed to ensure that all areas previously identified as upwind vs. downwind were included to be comprehensive.
In conclusion CHANGE determined that the levels of the compounds listed above were found to be trace levels and seemed to indicate no issues on air quality based on EPA’s regulatory levels.
