CHANGE conducted a sustainable and resilient development design for a portion of a carbonate resort island. This study portion consisted of an aquifer characterization of a carbonate island to present the interconnection of the knowledge of groundwater resources as critical to managing groundwater resources and storm survey infiltration into strategically placed deep storm drains. Additionally, CHANGE designed protocols for mangrove and eel grass protection for anthropogenic and ecological protections during storms.
