Conducted an intensive emission inventory review of a proposed hot mix asphalt plant that was looking to be built in a sensitive area in rural PA. Analysis also included conducting an expert statistical evaluation of yearly emissions (i.e., particulates and various greenhouse gases) and impacts on the downwind areas. Various weather and emissions models were used to calculate and illustrate that the community at large would have in fact been impacted by the emissions from the proposed plant leading to the application of the plant being denied.
